Sangres Best Beef cattle relish the fresh buffet, a result of blessed rain!
Deuteronomy 11:14
He will give the rain for your land at the right times, the early and late rain. So you may gather in your grain, your new wine and your oil.
Wet June is a Welcome Anomoly
Hello to all of you who have put your name on one of these beauties by placing a deposit on your very own bulk beef to be delivered from our ranch to your plate. By making this significant shift in sourcing your food you now have ownership and connection to the very ranch that is raising your beef!
I am happy to report that we have received ample moisture to fuel the growth of grass and other forages all over the 5,400 acres of ranch land that we own and lease.
June is typically dry with rain anticipated for July however we have been blessed beyond measure with many rain events and the country looks as good as it ever could :-)
As you can see, the cattle are looking really good. By the end of July many will be ready to fulfill their purpose, to fuel your own life. This is a sensitive aspect of getting close to the source of your food. I think there is a place for respect and honor for the animal who's life is taken to sustain our own. Many hunters and Native Americans possess this attitude.
On a lighter note... isn't it wonderful that these cattle get to live and prosper in this amazing environment!!
Thank you all so much for being a part of this mission. It's a journey we are on together! Enjoy these videos and pictures of your beef!
